神乃人之性也，性乃南方赤蛇，命乃北方黑龟。二气相吞，贯通一炁，流行上下，无所不通，

真抱元守一也。

Shen (the spirit) is the nature of man, and Xing (spiritual life) is the southern red snake,

and Ming (physical life) is the northern black turtle. The two kinds of Qi swallowed each other
and run through from the top to the bottom, which is the true all-in-one.
