Preface

When I first got the black-and-white version of "Laozi 81 Transformation with Illustrations" in Beijing Baiyun Temple in June 2016, I could not put it down, because the very meaning of the drawings

was just the way since I opened Xuan Guan for the past 7 years. My mind was all on the book and can hardly be distracted to the chairman’s invitation. After I finished reading the book, a word appeared

in my mind: This is the science of the spirit. The predecessors imparted the Tao with the paintings and showed us one by one. The experienced people can recognize it at a glance. Science can be

copied and reproduced. The primal fetus of Tao in Xuan Guan is the immortal nature and the original nature of all the living beings is the same one. This is a fully automated natural procedure that

everyone's experience is alike. The experiences of the teacher can be completely copied to the students like a copy machine. In this process, the teacher and students verify each other and together

form a whole, which also verifies that Tao is the theory of commonness of all lives. When I painted Laozi riding on a white horse at the end of the 81 paintings, I felt serious dizzy and my students felt the

same. In the magnetic field space in the Tao Te Arts Museum, three elder sisters saw the white elephants, the white Loong, Laozi in white robe and me in white robe. The high-energy state had lasted for

more than ten days, and finally the transparent jade Buddha was verified, along with the recovery of my body. This was the verification of Yu Qing of Laozi's one-Qi-into-three-Qing. Considering many of

the verifications before, there were not my personal feelings, but also evidences from the many students, along with the verifications in the previous classics. We all devoted ourselves to the one thing.

This shows that Tao cannot be verified by one person, but is a whole that can only be verified by all of us. We together have experienced the most supreme inaction as in the alchemy formula imparted

by Wang Chongyang:“Take Tai Xu as the tripod, Tai Chi as the furnace, cleanliness as the magic use, inaction as the foundation, the Xing (essence) and the Ming (life) as the lead and mercury, Precepts

and Samadhi as the water and fire, and the natural wisdom as the true seeds. No forget and no help to control the firing process, cleaning the mind and washing the thoughts like having a bath, freezing

the spirit and steadying breath to be sealed, keep the Precepts, Samadhi, and Wisdom in mind. The primal nature is the Xuan Guan. Enlightening the mind is verification, and seeing the light of original

nature (seeing essence) is crystallization. The three Yuan was mixed to become the embryo of sagehood. The Oneness is the achievement of the golden elixir. Be reborn with the true body outside body.

Break the void is a final return to the Tao”. We made it. Many of the verifications were like modern versions of The Journey to The West, the author of which, Qiu Chuji, is the disciple and the inheritor of

Wang Chongyang. The Xing (essence) and the Ming (life) are both important, but the Xing should be ahead of the Ming. We should concentrate the efforts on the original nature of Tao, and if the original

nature has been cultivated enough, the great wisdom of the infinite magical effects from the void will be revealed naturally. Tao itself don’t have to be practiced, we are practicing ourselves to uncover

the acquired messy consciousness to reveal the original nature. Qiu Chuji had achieved Tao and wrote the 72 Transformations of Sun Wukong. He organized the drawing and editing of Sheng Shen "81

Transformations of Laozi". The 72 and 81 Transformations both refer to the magic use of the great wisdom of the original nature. The west in The Journey to The West refers to hexagram of Dui with

white. When Fa Xiang of the transparent white jade Buddha appeared, the whole process of fetching the scriptures from the West has been completed. In 2015, we published a book and a hundred video

episodes of “The Birth of the Monkey King: To Reveal the Mystery of golden elixir in the Journey to the West”. In 2016, I created the oil paintings of the 81 Transformations of Laozi, and in order to place

the works, we set up the Museum of Laozi 81 Transformations in Song Zhuang, Tongzhou, Beijing. Our experience of embodying the Tao provided vivid illustrations for the inheritance and development

of inaction, and was highly valued by the academic field.
