本篇故事，老子要出门，请徐甲帮助看房子，老子答应每天给他百钱，回来一起付。徐甲同
意了，老子用吉祥草化一美女考验徐甲。徐甲经不住考验，不信守承诺还告老子欠他的钱。

老子说，你早就该没命了，因为付出延长了你的寿命，你怎么不知好歹呢，说完，徐甲变成
一堆尸骨。这在讲舍得，为本性生机付出可以延寿，如果回到纠结的人心立刻就死。

Forty-fourth, "Test Xujia"

This picture is about the story of Xujia. Laozi asked Xujia to take care of his

house when he was out, and promised to pay Xujia one hundred qian per day when
he was back. Xujia agreed. Laozi sent a beautiful woman incarnated from a kind of

grass called “auspicious” to test Xujia. Xujia could not stand the test, broke
his own promise and accused Laozi of owing him money. Laozi said: “You would have
already died a long time ago, but have lived an extended long life because of your

devotion to this work. Why don’t you cherish the chance?” After the words, Xujia
turned into a pile of bones. This is a story about “give” and “get”. Your life

will be extended if devoting yourself to Tao, but will die immediately once your
mind was entangled again.
