第四十五化、《度关尹》

尹喜用神通得知将有圣人来，他辞官降职到函谷关当关令，终于等到老子出现。老子在函谷
关传尹喜无为法。尹喜静修三年成道，后人修楼观台以纪念尹喜成就。老子传尹喜后说：今
将返神无名，吾逝矣。返神无名，是道隐无名，神光合道了的意思。画面上一个道童捧着一
个香炉。尹喜见到老子是天眼所见，是神的交流，传经也是灵传的。三年成道，这是无为法
的法程。千日后在成都青羊宫再见老子，是成就了圣神，就能见到道祖，道祖亲自为尹喜验
证。
Forty-fifth, "Enlighten Guanyin"

As Yin Xi foresighted the coming of the saint, he asked for a demotion to be a
magistrate of Hangu Pass and finally waited for Laozi, who passed him the Tao
of inaction at Hangu Pass. Yin Xi achieved Tao after three years’ practice.
The Louguan Tai was built to commemorate the achievements of Yin Xi. After
enlightening Yin Xi, Laozi said, “As the original spirit has returned to Nameless,
I will hide away.” The original spirit returning to Nameless means that Tao is
hidden behind Nameless, which also indicates that the original spirit and the
light have been united and become one with the Tao. There is a little boy holding
a censer in the picture. This implies that Laozi was in fact seen by Yin Xi with
his Heaven Eye, and the scriptures were passed by the spirits as a communication
between each other. The three years is the scheduled time of practice in the law
of inaction. A thousand days later, when Yin Xi encountered Laozi again at Cyan
Goat Hall in Chengdu, he had already achieved Sheng Shen and hence could see the
saint of Tao as verification.
