阳子遇见老子，老子见他目中无人就不教他。过了一段时间，阳子去掉了张狂，老子才教导
他。化被万物，而不恃有德，是法身的特点，如果一个人狂傲，就离德失道，人的行为和神

光的行为不匹配，师父的法身也会远离他，师父带徒弟是法身做功的。人的德性不够好，无
法吸引师父的法身莅临。炼己不纯，基础没打好，后边的登天之路，处处磨难。

Laozi refused to teach Yangzi at the first meeting because of his supercilious
attitude, and later agreed to impart to him after his arrogance had been removed.

Fa Shen has the feature that it generates everything but never claim credits. A
person with arrogance and pride is far away from Tao, and as his behavior does not

match the light of spirit, he will be kept away from the Fa Shen of the learned
Master who is guiding and protecting the disciples. A person without enough merits

cannot get favor from the Fa Shen of the learned Master. If you do not purify
yourself to lay a firm foundation, the remaining road to the heaven would be full

of suffering.
