天。东训尼父,西化金仙。百王取法,累圣攸传。函谷关右,经留五千。道非常道,玄之又
玄!”西化金仙,是神出来,与道合一,成为不灭金身,龙是元神的像。天上的云龙从水里出

Thirty-second, "Ride the Loong"
oil on canvas, 120 × 90cm, July 21, 2016
As the boiled water had no effect on Laojun, the king ordered his servants to
throw him into the sea. Suddenly, a Loong was rising from the water, with Laojun
on its back. Riding Loong on the water represents that Yuan Shen was achieved
with the help of Yuan Jing. The Emperor Xuanzong of Tang wrote the Praise of
Laojun: “So there is a great saint with superior Te, who was born after years of
pregnancy. His has silver hair and big ears, and is surrounded by purple cloud.
He used primal Qi of Oneness to purify Hun and Po so as to achieve Yuan Shen and
be the golden fairies on the west. Many great sages in the world have received his
doctrine. He left Tao Te Ching of five thousand characters besides Hangu Pass. Tao
is not constant Tao, it was mysterious and amazing.” The golden fairies in the
west means the immortal golden body achieved by the spirit integrated with Tao,
and Loong is the image of Yuan Shen. The cloud of Loong rising up from the water
is a metaphor of Yuan Shen coming up from Yuan Jing.
