第七十化、《庆玉像》

唐朝李隆基想礼谒老君，为民祈福。天色未明，静坐假寐，梦见老君说在京城西南等着和他
相见。醒后就遣使寻访至周至县楼观山间，见紫云垂覆，白光属天，乃穿其下，果得老君玉

像，高三尺余，进献给皇帝。皇帝建宫，迎请到内殿。本篇的题目是《庆玉像》四个人抬着
老君像，说的是玉清出现，三清证完就是成道了。

The Emperor Li Longji of Tang Dynasty treated Laojun with courtesy and prayed for

his people.
When the emperor sat still and took a nap before the daybreak, he dreamt of Laojun

asking him to meet at the Southwest of the capital. After waking up, the emperor
sent an envoy to the Louguan Mountain in Zhouzhi County. The envoy saw a place
with overturning purple clouds and a white light up to the sky, where he dug

beneath and finally found a jade figure of Laojun more than three Chinese feet
high. The emperor built a palace and placed the statue in the inner hall. In this

picture, the four people carrying the stature of Laojun indicates the achievement
of Yu Qing, and the Tao will be achieved after the verification of three Qing.
