                                        西王母下凡度汉武帝是一个著名典故,汉武帝好道,到处烧香叩头,希望遇见神仙。终于感
                                         动上帝,太上老君派西王母来授道像。西王母说:能益能易,名上仙籍。能益精,精化炁,

                                      炁化光,光可以变出 81 种道像。老子 81 化,讲的就是心光演化出的 81 种道像,佛家叫法相。
                                        西王母说:神炁充益,为之一年,益炁;二年,益血;三年,益精;四年,益脉;五年,易
                                                        体;六年,易筋;七年,易骨;八年,易发;九年,易形。形易则变化成道。

                                          This picture is about the story that the Queen Mother of the West descended to
                                          the world to enlighten the Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty. Emperor Wu would like to

                                            practice Tao, so he burned incense and worshiped the saints wherever he went,
                                             hoping to meet the gods. Finally the god was moved and Laojun sent the Queen
                                       Mother of the West to impart the image of Tao. The Queen Mother of the West said,

                                          “Who can be benefited and changed will become a divine immortal”. It benefits
                                         Jing, Jing turns into Qi, Qi turns into light, and light has 81 transformations

                                      of Tao images. The 81 Transformations of Laozi refer to the 81 kinds of Tao images
                                       or known as Fa Xiang in Buddhism, which was evolved from the light of spirit. The
                                         Queen Mother of the West said, “It fulfills and benefits the spirit and Qi; the

                                            first year, benefits Qi; the second year, benefits the blood; the third year,
                                         benefits Jing; the fourth year, benefits the pulse; the fifth year, changes the

                                         body; the sixth year, changes the muscles; the seventh year, changes the bones;
                                          the eighth year, changes the hair; the ninth year, changes the appearance. Tao
                                                                           will be achieved when the appearance gets changed.”
